Appearing on the album 'Welcome to my Nightmare', "Only Women Bleed" was written by Alice Cooper and Dick Wagner. Often quoted as being 40 years ahead of it's time with the #MeToo movement and the social outcry and subsequent push towards male accountability in abusive relationships, It is a ballad about a woman in an abusive marriage. The song is often mistakenly presumed to be about menstruation, and that has limited its play on radio and in other public forums. As a single by Cooper, it was released as just "Only Women". It's perhaps his most poignant and heart felt ballad possibly with the exception of "How you gonna see me now" from 1978's 'From the Inside" album. We hope you enjoy our version.
