That surreal coming of age moment when everything clicks and you just get it. For me, it was the realization that I was put on this earth to create music. That somehow, no matter what I thought about myself, my music brought OTHER people joy and happiness. Just for a little while they'd forget about their own problems and could focus on mine for a break!
What was your big realization?
lyrics
I've got a key to the rainbow,
I tripped on something you said.
I never wanted any trouble,
But I've got a fire in my head.
What you do with your life, make it worth the while
and just try.
We deserve everything we’re entitled to,
We’re entitled to a life.
Well I sought to unlock the rainbow,
to set free the colours in the sky,
But in my haste to release them,
The clouds and the shadows passed me by
Now I think about it, let me off
This strange emotion
Nothing else I can do, let me off
This strange emotion
Mother I've got a strange kinda light in my eyes
Hey! Do you think I'm alright?
Mother I've been missing I've been trippin through the jungle
But I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive
Strange emotion, Strange emotion
Strange emotion, Strange emotion
I lost my key to the rainbow,
I misplaced the thoughts in my head
I went looking for salvation,
My soul it yearns to be fed
from the Journey,
